Property Viewing Agent – Mays Management
Location
Based in Hackney, covering properties across London
About us
Mays Management is a growing property management company with an expanding portfolio of rental properties across London. We are looking for a reliable, confident and personable Property Viewing Agent to join our team and support our busy lettings department.
The role
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused exclusively on conducting property viewings for prospective tenants.
You will travel to properties across London, show applicants around available rental properties, answer general questions and identify applicants who are genuinely interested and willing to proceed with a property.
Your main responsibility is to deliver professional viewings, create a positive first impression and bring forward suitable, interested applicants to the lettings team for the next stage of the process.
This is a viewing-focused role. You will not be responsible for winning landlord business, negotiating tenancy agreements or managing the full lettings process.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting property viewings for prospective tenants across London.
- Meeting applicants at properties and showing them around in a professional and friendly manner.
- Providing prospective tenants with basic information about the property and its features.
- Answering general questions and gauging applicants' level of interest.
- Identifying applicants who are serious about renting and willing to proceed with the property.
- Passing interested applicants and their details promptly to the lettings team for follow-up.
- Keeping the team updated on viewing outcomes, applicant feedback and any issues arising during viewings.
- Managing your viewing schedule efficiently and arriving punctually for appointments.
- Ensuring properties are left secure and presentable after viewings.
- Representing Mays Management professionally at all times.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
