Real Estate Senior Associate

This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Senior Associate to join a highly rated commercial law firm in Leeds, handling a varied caseload of high quality commercial property work. You will advise major developers, investors and retailers across development, investment and corporate occupier matters, while playing an active role in mentoring and business development.

Our client is a large commercial law firm with a strong reputation for delivering high quality work to major businesses across the UK and internationally. The firm has experienced sustained growth in recent years and has built a broad client base spanning major corporates, investors, financial institutions and high growth businesses. They have a large Real Estate team known as one of the best teams in the region.

Description

The Real Estate Senior Associate will be:

  • Advising major developers, investors and retailers on commercial property matters
  • Handling a broad range of development, investment and corporate occupier work
  • Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients
  • Working closely with Partners and colleagues across the wider firm
  • Taking an active role in business development and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Supporting the development and mentoring of junior lawyers

Profile

The Real Estate Senior Associate should be:

  • A solicitor with around 6 years PQE or more in commercial real estate
  • Experienced across a broad range of commercial property matters
  • Strong technically with a commercially focused approach
  • Experienced in development, investment and corporate occupier work
  • Comfortable advising sophisticated clients and managing matters with a high degree of autonomy
  • Confident in developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Interested in contributing to business development and team growth
  • Experienced in supporting, supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
  • A strong communicator who works collaboratively and takes ownership of their work
