Real Estate Solicitor (1-3 Years PQE)

£60,000-£67,000 | Top 50 National Practice | Hybrid Working | Milton Keynes

An exciting opportunity for a Real Estate Solicitor with 1-3 years’ PQE to join a highly regarded Top 50 national law firm and work within a specialist team advising major operators across the hospitality, leisure and wider consumer-facing sectors.

This is a great opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their real estate career within a genuinely interesting and fast-moving area of the market, with exposure to high-value and complex transactions from an early stage.

The Opportunity

The team acts for a number of large, well-established corporate clients, many of whom they have worked with for a number of years. The work is varied and predominantly real estate focused, with around 70% Real Estate work alongside exposure to related commercial and regulatory matters.

You can expect to be involved in:

  • Acquisitions and disposals, including portfolio transactions and larger individual deals.
  • Estate management, landlord and tenant work, licences, variations, easements and ancillary agreements.
  • Pub, hospitality and leisure portfolios, including work across large estates.
  • Development and acquisition work, including increasingly complex transactions.
  • Supporting major corporate clients with their ongoing property requirements.
  • Working alongside colleagues across commercial and regulatory disciplines where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The team is currently looking to add someone at the junior end who can support the existing team while developing their own sector expertise. You’ll be given the opportunity to work closely with experienced lawyers and build strong relationships with clients and agents as your experience develops.

About You

We’re looking for a Real Estate Solicitor with 1-3 years’ PQE who is keen to develop their career within a specialist and commercially focused team.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience across a broad range of commercial real estate matters.
  • A genuine interest in working with clients within the hospitality, leisure, retail or wider operator-led sectors.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commercial and client-focused approach.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to develop relationships with clients and agents.
  • Ambition to develop your technical expertise and build your own profile within the sector.

Sector experience is useful, but enthusiasm for the area and a willingness to develop specialist knowledge are equally important.

The Firm

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking national practice with a strong reputation across the UK. The team operates collaboratively across offices, with a real emphasis on developing people, sharing expertise and giving lawyers the opportunity to build meaningful client relationships.

The culture is commercial, sociable and entrepreneurial, with the team passionate about the sector they work in. There is a genuine focus on getting lawyers out into the market, developing relationships and giving people the opportunity to progress rather than simply handling work behind the scenes.

The firm is also actively investing in technology and AI to improve service delivery, with an appetite for finding new and more efficient ways of working.

Benefits:

  • Hybrid/agile working, with an expectation of around 3 days per week in the office.
  • No individual billing targets – the focus is on the performance and success of the wider team.
  • 25 days’ annual leave, plus an additional day over Christmas.
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies.
  • Employer pension contributions.
  • Life assurance at 4x salary.
  • Private medical insurance for eligible Associate-level employees and above.
  • Employee Assistance Programme and a range of wellbeing support.
  • Flexible benefits and salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Access to discounted gym membership, technology schemes, cycle-to-work and other benefits.

If you're a Real Estate Solicitor looking for high-quality work, strong client exposure and the opportunity to develop within a genuinely specialist sector, this could be a great next step.
