Solicitor – Commercial Real Estate

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Associate (1+ PQE) to join a growing Real Estate practice in Birmingham.

Location: Birmingham
Salary: Up to £65,000
PQE: 1+ years
Previous Experience: Commercial Property, including acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant matters, and development work

The Opportunity

The team advises a broad range of clients, including property developers, investors, occupiers, and lenders, on commercial property transactions, development projects, and ongoing asset management matters.

Joining an established Birmingham team within a wider national Real Estate practice, you will benefit from working alongside experienced lawyers while developing your own technical expertise, client base, and professional profile.

What You'll Be Working On

You will work on a varied caseload spanning acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases, development agreements, property finance, and corporate support, with opportunities to take ownership of matters and develop direct client relationships.

  • Advising on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property, investment assets, and development land
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, licences, assignments, and other landlord and tenant documentation
  • Supporting development projects, including conditional contracts, development agreements, and infrastructure arrangements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 1+ years' PQE in commercial real estate
  • Previous experience gained within an established Commercial Property practice
  • Strong experience in acquisitions, disposals, and landlord and tenant matters, ideally with exposure to development work
  • Good drafting, negotiation, and technical skills

This is an attractive opportunity for a junior Real Estate lawyer looking to establish themselves within a growing Birmingham practice backed by a substantial national property team. You'll benefit from a broad range of commercial property work, direct exposure to developers, investors, and occupiers, and the opportunity to develop your own practice with the support of experienced senior lawyers.
