Junior Real Estate Solicitor
Manchester | Private Practice
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Real Estate Solicitor to join the highly regarded Real Estate team of an international law firm in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to develop their career within a sophisticated commercial real estate practice, working alongside experienced lawyers on a broad range of high-quality transactions.
The Role
You will work as part of a collaborative and growing Real Estate team, advising a diverse client base across a variety of commercial property matters. Your work is likely to include:
- Acquisitions and disposals of commercial property
- Commercial leasing and landlord & tenant matters
- Property development and investment work
- Real estate finance and secured lending matters
- Portfolio management and asset management
- Property due diligence
- Drafting and negotiating leases, agreements and other property documentation
- Supporting senior lawyers on complex and high-value transactions
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

About You
We are looking for a junior qualified solicitor, ideally around NQ–2 PQE, with experience in commercial real estate. You will ideally have:
- Experience within a reputable Real Estate/Property team
- Good knowledge of commercial property transactions
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A commercial approach and genuine interest in real estate
- Strong communication and client-management skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A willingness to learn and take on responsibility

Candidates from either a large international firm or a strong regional practice will be considered, provided they can demonstrate good-quality commercial real estate experience.
