Commercial Development Legal Director | Birmingham
Overview
I’m working with a leading national law firm looking to grow its Real Estate team in Birmingham City Centre with the appointment of a Commercial Development Legal Director.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 8+ PQE Commercial Property/Development Solicitor to join a highly regarded team, working on high-quality and complex development matters for an impressive national client base.
Role Responsibilities
The role will include:
- Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold real estate, including commercial development sites and investment properties
- Commercial development transactions, including site acquisitions, development agreements, conditional contracts, options, overage arrangements, and easements
- Landlord and tenant and asset management matters
- Investment, portfolio, and real estate finance transactions
- Developing key client relationships and playing an active role in the continued growth of the Birmingham team

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: £97,000 – £115,000
- Bonuses: Two uncapped bonus schemes
- Pension: Up to 8% matched pension
- Working Arrangement: Hybrid working
- Insurance: Private medical insurance, health cash plan, dental insurance, life assurance, critical illness insurance
