Associate Real Estate Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) – Cambridge – Up to 60k + Benefits + Bonus

A leading national law firm is seeking an Associate Real Estate Solicitor to join its highly regarded team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ solicitor or lawyer with up to 2 years' PQE to join a Tier 1-ranked Real Estate practice, working on high-profile development projects and complex commercial property transactions.

Joining a market-leading Real Estate team, you will work closely with recognised Partners on nationally significant development schemes, gaining exposure to some of the firm's most prestigious clients and largest transactions. The team is known for its collaborative approach, technical excellence and commitment to developing junior lawyers.

This role offers an exceptional platform for an ambitious Associate Real Estate Solicitor looking to accelerate their career within a top-tier practice. Alongside high-quality development work, you will gain exposure to a broad range of commercial real estate matters, helping you build a well-rounded practice whilst benefiting from structured training, mentoring and progression opportunities.

The Role:

  • Supporting on complex development transactions
  • Advising on site acquisitions and disposals
  • Assisting with option agreements, promotion agreements and conditional contracts
  • Conducting due diligence, title investigations and property searches
  • Advising on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property
  • Drafting and negotiating leases, agreements for lease and landlord and tenant documentation
  • Managing completion and post-completion matters
  • Building strong client relationships through direct client contact
  • Working closely with colleagues across planning, construction and specialist teams
  • Supporting business development initiatives and client events

The Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE in Commercial Real Estate
  • Experience gained within a regional, national or City law firm
  • Strong technical grounding in real estate law
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills
  • Commercially aware with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Collaborative and proactive approach
  • Ambitious and motivated to develop expertise within real estate development
  • Interest in legal technology and innovation would be advantageous
