Role: Rebate Coordinator / Administration

Sector: Builders Merchants / Construction Supplies

Area: Ammanford

Package: £30,000 – £35,000 NO WEEKEND WORKING!

This is one of those times when we are genuinely proud to represent a great business which has an enviable market share within its sector and it’s an established business but it also has an exciting future ahead of it. They are looking to recruit a Rebate Coordinator / Administrator to join their internal team.

Our client is a very well-respected company that’s admired by its customers and staff alike.

Rebates are an important part of life in the construction supply world. Products bought in certain quantities from certain suppliers enable the business to claim back rebates. There is nothing worryingly difficult about this process but it involves strong administration skills, really good attention to detail, and a methodical approach. You must also possess good communication qualities and strong negotiating skills.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role doesn’t require anything that a really strong admin professional couldn’t normally do. You must be good with IT and spreadsheets in particular. You will use this information to provide reports to the company and on occasions you may have meetings with suppliers too. There will be deadlines to adhere to but only in relation to producing monthly or weekly reports.

Rebates form an important income stream in this sector. Therefore you’ll be a vital part of an important team.

This role requires a special someone – various backgrounds will be considered but whatever you will need to demonstrate you have strong administration and organizational skills and great attention to detail. Examples will need to be given – you can’t just say that you are organised! In return though you’ll get to work for a great company in a great team and long-term progression is monitored. The financial package is good and this role is Monday – Friday only.
