Quality Inspector – Bristol, CEVA Logistics

Our Bristol Operations

Our Bristol-based operation is seeking a Quality Inspector, responsible for maintaining airworthiness and supply chain integrity through rigorous inspection of inbound and outbound deliveries. This role involves ensuring that only conforming stock enters the supply chain while upholding high customer standards.

Security & Eligibility

Essential: Applicants must:

  • Have permanent UK residency (minimum 5 years).
  • Be a national of a NATO member country (due to required security clearance).

Your Role

You will perform critical quality inspections of purchased materials/parts, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and preventing defective stock from entering the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed inspections of receipted parts using various inspection tools/methods, cross-referenced against engineering drawings.
  • Apply and maintain technical standards within the Quality Inspection department.
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients to strengthen relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with customer requirements and CEVA’s quality policies.
  • Attend and complete training programs (aligned with Investors in People certification).

Hours & Commitment

  • Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:00.

Person Specification – What We Look For

Qualifications

  • A recognised Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or above equivalent).

Experience & Skills

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Keen attention to detail (critical for spotting defects/potential issues).
  • Bonus if experienced with SAP (preferred but not mandatory).
