Position 1: 22.5 hours per week Position 2: 15 hours per week
Private GP Services is looking for two friendly, organised and professional Receptionist / Administrators to join our team in Colchester.
This is a varied, patient-facing role where you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic while providing a welcoming and professional experience for our patients.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and dealing with enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering incoming telephone calls
- Monitoring and responding to emails
- Supporting appointment and general clinic administration
- Scanning and uploading documents
- Maintaining accurate patient and administrative records
- Supporting clinicians and the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Handling confidential and sensitive information appropriately
- Helping maintain an organised and professional reception environment

About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with patients
- Professional and reliable
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- Comfortable speaking with people by telephone, email and face-to-face
- Confident using computers and carrying out general administrative tasks
- Able to manage several tasks and priorities throughout the working day
- Discreet and able to handle confidential information appropriately
