Administrator/ Receptionist – Southampton
Salary: To £28,000pa dependent on experience + excellent benefits
Monday – Friday – Office based
Our client, a leading professional services and values-driven employer of choice, is seeking a professional, personable Administrator/ Receptionist to join their Southampton office. The Role
As part of the Administrative and Reception team, you’ll be supporting the General Office team. Duties will include archiving of documents, files and wills, managing on-line health & safety training for new members of staff, assisting with fire tests and drills, dealing with stationery supplies, collating confidential shredding materials and dealing with contractors.

On occasion you will be required to cover the reception and hospitality team. This will include being the first point of contact for clients, visitors and contractors, helping to take telephone calls and helping with light refreshments for meetings and setting out rooms for lunches.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with scanning incoming post, and managing deliveries
- Dealing with contractor enquiries and visits
- Assisting with archiving and storage of wills
- Dealing with stationery supplies and orders
- Assisting with client hospitality during busy times or holidays
- Holiday cover for Southampton reception staff, dealing with incoming calls and visitors to the office
- Providing reception cover for the Winchester office when needed
- Greeting clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism

Requirements
- Previous experience in a professional services environment
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in an archiving role
- An understanding of the role of reception in a professional environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and approachable manner
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Flexibility to travel to Winchester for cover when required
- Excellent IT skills and be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
