Actual salary £22,576 – £23,667 pro rata to weeks and hours worked

Permanent, 37 hours per week
Start date: November 2026

Working hours:

  • Monday – Wednesday: 08.30 – 4.30pm
  • Thursday and Friday: 08.00 – 4.30pm
  • Term Time only plus 5 additional days (made up of 3 teacher training days to be agreed with your line manager and 2 days in August to open reception on GCSE and A-Level result days).

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist & Admin Assistant to the Deputy Headteachers to join our friendly and dedicated team at Caludon Castle School.

This key role combines providing a professional, efficient and welcoming reception service with delivering high-quality administrative support to the Deputy Headteachers. As one of the first points of contact for students, parents, staff and visitors, you will play an important part in creating a positive experience for everyone who interacts with our school.

We are seeking an organised, adaptable and highly professional individual with excellent communication and administrative skills. You will be confident dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, managing competing priorities and maintaining a calm and approachable manner in a busy school environment. Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is essential, and experience within a school setting would be advantageous.
