Reception Teacher – One-Year Maternity Cover

Location: Romford, Essex, RM7 8JB

Contract: Maternity cover for one year

All Together Education Recruitment is working with an infant school in Romford to recruit a Reception Teacher for a one-year maternity cover.

We are looking for a teacher who can create a nurturing, engaging classroom and help children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

  • Planning and delivering lessons and activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Teaching phonics and supporting early reading, writing and numeracy.
  • Developing stimulating continuous provision and purposeful play.
  • Assessing children’s progress and adapting provision to their individual needs.
  • Working closely with support staff, colleagues and parents.
  • Maintaining positive routines and supporting children’s wellbeing.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Reception or relevant EYFS teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • Confidence in phonics teaching, assessment and inclusive practice.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
