Job Description Are you a people focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment? Join our dynamic team as a Front of House & Hospitality Host, where you’ll play a key role in shaping the visitor experience for a prestigious law firm in Edinburgh.

About the Role As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you’ll deliver exceptional service across reception, hospitality, and event support. This is a hands-on, varied role ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, takes pride in high standards, and brings warmth and professionalism to every interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Reception

  • Provide a polished, professional welcome to all visitors.
  • Manage incoming calls and emails with confidence and clarity.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings using the UMA system.
  • Maintain immaculate reception, lobby, meeting room, and cloakroom areas.

Operations & Event Support

  • Set up and reset meeting rooms, including manual handling of furniture (tables, chairs, partition walls).
  • Deliver AV and technical support for meetings and events.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post.
  • Provide administrative support such as scanning and data collation.

Hospitality & Pantry Management

  • Prepare and serve lunches and event catering to a high standard.
  • Maintain kitchen and pantry cleanliness, including dishwasher operation and clearing service items.
  • Conduct weekly stock counts, place orders, and process invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations (including fridge temperature logs).

Hours: 40 hours per week, Rotational shifts (7am–4pm, 9am–6pm, or 10am–7pm) Monday - Friday. Candidates must be flexible to meet business needs, including occasional weekend coverage.

Salary: £27,976 per annum
