Location: Bupa Training Academy, TW18 3DZ
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 50 Hours Per Week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
About The Role
We are looking for a professional and customer-focused Reception Security Officer to join the team at the Bupa Training Academy in Staines. This modern training facility is dedicated to promoting learning, innovation, and the development of world-class skills for healthcare professionals across the UK.
As a Reception Security Officer, you will be the face of the site, providing a welcoming and professional first impression to visitors, staff, and contractors. You will combine exceptional front-of-house customer service with effective security practices, ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and running smoothly at all times.
This role requires someone who can think quickly, solve problems efficiently, and remain calm under pressure. You will manage visitor access, answer enquiries, oversee meeting room and parking arrangements, and support the day-to-day operations of the facility while maintaining high security standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service
- Greeting visitors, staff, and contractors and managing site access
- Monitoring and maintaining site security procedures
- Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Managing visitor registrations and access control systems
- Assisting with meeting room bookings and facilities coordination
- Monitoring car parking arrangements and visitor attendance
- Responding to incidents, enquiries, and requests in a calm and efficient manner
- Maintaining accurate records and reports as required
- Delivering excellent customer service while ensuring site safety and security
Requirements
- Valid SIA Security Licence
- Previous security and customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and effective in busy environments
- Confident managing multiple tasks and requests simultaneously
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Good IT and administrative skills
