Reception Supervisor

Here at Delta Hotels By Marriott Tudor Park Country Club, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Supervisor to join our Front Office team.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Reception Supervisor, you'll play a key role in creating memorable first and last impressions for our guests. Leading by example, you'll ensure every guest receives a warm welcome, exceptional service, and a seamless experience throughout their stay. Working closely with the Front Office Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operation of the reception team, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction and team performance are delivered at all times.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence.
  • Welcome guests, manage check-ins and check-outs, and ensure all guest requests are handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Allocate rooms, issue room keys, and process payments and billing accurately.
  • Liaise with the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests and promptly address any guest concerns.
  • Respond to guest enquiries, complaints, and requests, resolving issues in a timely and positive manner.
  • Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Manage reservations, amendments, and cancellations, ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Prepare and review daily arrival, departure, and occupancy reports.
  • Support the Front Office Manager with the day-to-day supervision of the Front Office team.
  • Assist with training, coaching, and developing team members to drive engagement, performance, and career progression.
  • Lead shifts confidently, ensuring operational standards and company procedures are consistently maintained.
  • Act as a role model for the team, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Front Office, Reception Supervisor, or similar hospitality role.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A warm, friendly, and professional approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
  • Confidence in handling guest concerns and resolving issues effectively.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a team-focused mindset.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS or a similar hotel property management system would be advantageous.

Hours: This is a full-time role working 40 hours, 5 days per week with a mix of early and late shifts, including weekends.
