About The Role

An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is a full:time, long:term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The successful teacher will lead a well:resourced Reception class, delivering creative and engaging lessons that support childrens early development and foster a love of learning. You'll be supported by an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant and a strong leadership team who prioritise collaboration and staff well:being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high:quality lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Observe, assess, and record pupils progress effectively.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Promote inclusive learning and celebrate every childs achievements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) : essential.
  • Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally in Reception.
  • Strong understanding of EYFS principles and child:led learning.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness ).
