Are you looking for a flexible Reception teaching role where you can make a real difference without the demands of full-time planning? We are working with a welcoming Hertfordshire primary school seeking an enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team every Friday from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EYFS teacher or an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a well-supported environment.

The Role

Reception Teacher

  • Every Friday (one day per week)
  • September start
  • Initially until October half term, with the potential for extension following review
  • Lessons planned by the full-time class teacher, requiring only minor adaptation where appropriate
  • Full-time Teaching Assistant supporting the class
  • 30 minutes of PPA included each Friday

Can You Offer?

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A sound understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Experience teaching within Early Years

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with the class teacher to ensure continuity for pupils
