Are you looking for a part-time teaching role where you can make a real impact across Reception and Year 1? We are working with a welcoming Hertfordshire primary school seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Teacher to provide cover every Thursday throughout the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys the variety of both Early Years and Key Stage 1 within a supportive school community.

The Role

Reception & Year 1 PPA Teacher

  • Every Thursday
  • One day per week
  • September start
  • Full academic year
  • Full class responsibility during PPA cover
  • Teaching across both Reception and Year 1
  • Well-planned handovers and close collaboration with the class teachers
  • Suitable for experienced teachers and confident ECTs

Can You Offer?

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A sound understanding of both the EYFS Framework and Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Experience teaching Reception and/or Year 1
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • A flexible, positive approach and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Commitment to providing consistency throughout the academic year
