Based in the heart of the City of London, in a new, modern, and welcoming office, Constantin is Deloitte France’s regional office in the UK. It specializes in auditing the UK subsidiaries of groups audited by Deloitte (primarily Deloitte France). The London office is currently experiencing strong growth and has over 150 professionals.

In this context, we are looking for a reception trainee keen to work in a young and international environment. The start date would be as soon as possible, with the exact date to be confirmed. Fluency in both French and English is essential.

What will your role be on #TeamDeloitte-Constantin?

This role will be split between two main areas of responsibility depending on each team’s requirements.

  • Reception related – 60% of the time allocation
  • Practice support – 40% of the time allocation

1 – Reception/Admin support

  • On-site at the reception desk
  • Booking meeting rooms upon request
  • Preparing and clearing booked meeting rooms for occupancy
  • Assisting with looking after the clients visiting our premises (coffee, Wi-Fi access, …)
  • Answering the phone if the receptionist is not available
  • Issuing temporary swipe cards in the absence of the receptionist
  • Managing suppliers’ orders for the office
  • Providing occasional assistance with the handling of incoming post
  • Assisting with the practical aspects of our regular monthly events, providing hands-on support before, during, and after each event when required.

2 – Practice Assistant support

Helping the Practice Assistant with:

  • Stamping documents
  • Signing deliverables

You are students looking for your first work experience placement lasting six months or more. As the role involves representing the Firm, personal appearance, politeness, and good manners are essential. The balance between English and French speaking clients is about even, hence the need for fluency in both languages. Lots of common sense and a positive “can do” attitude is essential, as this will be an active role and responsiveness is key. Time management will be key.

Additional requirement: Advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
