Job Introduction

Receptionist / Administrator

David Lewis is looking to recruit a Receptionist / Administrator to join our friendly and dedicated team.

At David Lewis, we are committed to improving the lives of people with complex epilepsy, autism, learning disabilities and other complex support needs from across the UK.

About The Role

  • Salary: £23,751 per annum
  • Hours: 35 hours per week (5 shifts over 7 days)
  • Location: Alderley Edge, Cheshire, SK9 7UD

Based within our main reception area, you will work in a beautiful rural setting spanning over 160 acres of Cheshire countryside. As the first point of contact for visitors, staff and residents, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and assisting visitors, residents and staff
  • Answering telephone calls and taking messages
  • Managing room bookings
  • Sorting and distributing internal and external post
  • Preparing and maintaining weekly reports
  • Maintaining telephone and vehicle registration lists
  • Issuing and monitoring keys and fuel cards for the transport fleet
  • Archiving and record management
  • Building positive interactions with residents
  • Supporting a range of ad hoc administrative duties

About You

The successful candidate will be warm, friendly and professional, with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be flexible, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Previous experience in a reception, administration, customer service or front-of-house role is desirable, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Working Pattern

You will work a rotating three-week shift pattern, working 5 shifts over 7 days, including 1 in every 3 weekends.
