Exciting Opportunity at Filton Vets for Pets
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Filton Vets for Pets for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly and welcoming team.
If you are passionate about delivering excellent client care and thrive in a supportive, team-focused environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
What your typical day will look like:
- Providing outstanding service to our clients while ensuring the highest standard of care for their pets, acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team
- Building strong, positive relationships with clients, their pets, and your colleagues
- Ensuring every client visit is a positive experience, so clients leave feeling confident, supported, and happy to return
- Greeting clients warmly and offering support, guidance, and clear, accurate information
- Managing payments and confidently booking future appointments
- Coordinating the smooth day-to-day running of the practice using our online booking system, so strong computer skills are essential

This is a full-time role working 38.75 hours per week. Your rota will be:
- Monday 8.00-16.00
- Tuesday off
- Wednesday 8.00-18.00
- Thursday 9.00-19.30
- Friday 9.00-19.30
- One in every 4 Saturdays 8.45-16.15
The attributes we’re looking for:
- A friendly, welcoming manner - you’ll be the first point of contact for clients and their pets
- The ability to provide accurate guidance by staying up to date with practice services and additional offerings
- A calm, attentive approach with a strong focus on client needs
- Enthusiasm, drive, and a genuine passion for customer service and animal care
- Emotional resilience to support clients during difficult moments, as well as share in joyful milestones such as a puppy’s first visit
- A positive, engaging personality that helps create a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the practice
