About the Client:
One of VWA's clients, a private family office based in central London, are looking for a temporary Receptionist / Office Administrator to join them on a standalone basis. The office is currently relocating to a brand-new space, and this is a great opportunity to be the first face of a small, professional and fast-paced environment.
About the Receptionist / Office Administrator Role:
This is a standalone Receptionist / Office Administrator role, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal handholding, particularly given the office is mid-move. The role will report into the COO and work closely with two senior EAs. The responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Meeting and greeting visitors, liaising with the building's reception team downstairs
- Preparing next-day meeting schedules and assigning meeting rooms
- Keeping the kitchen and meeting rooms tidy and reset throughout the day
- Managing the office grocery/shop order
- Handling general office enquiries
- Providing event support, working alongside one of the EAs
- Providing ad hoc travel support where needed
Candidate Specification:
- At least one year's experience in a reception or office admin role, ideally within financial services or a family office
- Experience working in a small, professional office environment
- Confident, energetic and personable - comfortable being the "first face" of the office
- Able to read the room and use initiative without being told what to do
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal training

Additional Information:
- Start date on or around 27th October
- Core hours 08:30-17:30/18:00, with some flexibility required for occasional later finishes
- Likely duration of 2-4 months
- Cover required up to approximately 21st/22nd December, resuming 4th January
- Fully office based, five days a week
- Up to £23p/h + holiday pay, dependent on experience
