About the Role
Do you enjoy speaking to people and delivering exceptional customer service? Are you confident on the phone and looking for a part-time role in a professional and welcoming environment?
We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our Front of House team in Bristol.
Job Description
Based within our switchboard team, you'll be one of the first points of contact for clients, visitors and employees, helping to create a positive and professional impression of the firm. Day to day, you'll manage our busy switchboard, answer and transfer calls, assist new clients with their enquiries, support switchboard reporting and statistics, help with travel bookings, and provide additional support to our reception team when required. No two days are quite the same.
No previous switchboard experience is required. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, is confident communicating by phone and takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience. If you've worked in a customer-facing or client-facing role and are happy spending much of your day speaking with people, we'd love to hear from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
