We're recruiting on behalf of our client, an established hotel in the heart of the Lake District, who are looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join their Front of House team on an ongoing temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality and takes pride in delivering an excellent guest experience. You'll be the first point of contact for guests, managing check-ins, reservations and enquiries while supporting the wider hotel team in a busy and welcoming environment.

- Job Title: Hotel Receptionist
- Location: Bowness-on-Windermere, Lake District
- Contract: Temporary, immediate start, ongoing
- Working Pattern: Early and late shifts across a seven-day rota, including weekends
- Shift Times: 7.30am–4.00pm or 2.30pm–11.00pm
- Pay: £13.00 per hour
Key Requirements:
- Previous hotel reception or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident handling reservations, telephone calls, emails and guest enquiries
- Experience using hotel booking systems such as Opera or Guestline would be advantageous
- Professional, personable and welcoming approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and proactive during busy periods
- Flexibility to work early and late shifts, including weekends
- Available to start immediately or at short notice
