Receptionist
Location: Stechford Leisure Centre, Birmingham, B33 8QN
Salary: £13.45 per hour plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Part-time 20 hours per week, various including 2 out of 4 weekends – working shifts between 6.15am – 10.30pm

Delivering these services relies on an enthusiastic, customer-focused team, and they're now looking for a Receptionist to join their team and help make a positive difference every day.
As a Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for customers visiting the centre. You'll help create a welcoming experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of reception services. Through excellent customer care, promoting activities and services, and supporting access to leisure opportunities, you'll help make a positive impact on communities and contribute to healthier futures.
What You'll Do as a Receptionist
- Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional reception service both in person and over the telephone
- Operate front-of-house systems, process payments, issue receipts, and comply with financial procedures
- Balance daily income and support banking processes in accordance with established procedures
- Manage facility bookings and respond to customer enquiries efficiently and accurately
- Promote and sell the centre's products and services, including health and fitness memberships and swimming lessons
- Support marketing activities by maintaining displays of promotional materials and assisting with promotional initiatives where required

Does This Sound Like You?
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Confident using computer systems and digital applications
- Comfortable working in a busy environment and managing multiple priorities
- Able to remain calm and effective in challenging situations
- Experience working in a customer-facing leisure, hospitality, or service environment is desirable
- A positive team player who builds trust and takes pride in delivering great service
