Holiday: 23 days annual leave – pro rata (excluding bank holidays), increasing with service up to an additional 5 days

The Opportunity
As our Receptionist, you'll play a key role in creating a professional and welcoming environment for clients, visitors and colleagues. Combining front-of-house responsibilities with administrative support, you'll help keep our office running smoothly while working as part of a friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in administration, with full training provided.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Receptionist, you'll be responsible for:
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a professional and welcoming reception service and preparing refreshments where required.
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls efficiently.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and distribute correspondence as required.
- Monitor and process emails received through the registered office inbox.
- Prepare and format documents, including letters, reports, and accounts.
- Process monthly disbursements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Book in, scan, and maintain personal tax and VAT records.
- Order office stationery and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Maintain tidy reception, meeting room and communal areas, and support office facilities management, including health & safety compliance and fire alarm testing.
- Provide general administrative support to team members and assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent).
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent telephone manner with strong customer service skills.
- Well organised, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- An understanding of confidentiality and the importance of discretion.
- A smart and professional appearance.
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
