Temporary Receptionist

Hope Valley College are looking to recruit a temporary receptionist for the remainder of the academic year to assist in the provision of an efficient, professional, and welcoming reception and administrative support service. In the role of receptionist, you are often the first point of contact for the school. The successful postholder will be required to demonstrate a high level of customer service, be able to communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff, and show initiative and organization, and multi-tasking skills in a busy work environment.

The student medical room is based at reception; this role is part of the first aid team within the school and is required to provide first aid to students and staff and administer medication. Full training will be provided, but applicants must be patient, compassionate, and willing to fulfill this task.

Job Details

  • Hours: 22.5 per week
  • Days: Mondays plus two other days to be discussed with the successful candidate
  • Working Hours: 8am to 4pm, 3 days per week, term time only
  • Job Share: This role is offered on a job share basis with the current postholder
