Job Description
We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join a small, friendly team based within a renowned Management Consulting firm in the heart of Canary Wharf.
As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and colleagues, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional front-of-house experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service, thrives in a corporate environment, and takes pride in maintaining a welcoming and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing a warm, professional, and engaging welcome to all visitors and clients
- Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains presentable at all times
- Coordinating meeting room bookings and preparing rooms for client meetings
- Supporting hospitality requirements, including refreshments and catering arrangements
- Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently
- Assisting with office administration and day-to-day operational support
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure the smooth running of office services
- Supporting basic AV and meeting technology requirements where needed
- Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high professional standards

Hours
42.5 hours per week, shifts from 7.30am-5.30pm or 8am-6pm, Mon-Fri.
Salary
£36,000 per annum
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience within a corporate environment
- Previous reception, customer service, front-of-house, or administrative experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
- Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
- A professional appearance and positive attitude
- Confidence working in a fast-paced business environment
- Experience with AV and IT systems would be advantageous but is not essential
