Company Description

Imaginal is a specialist provider of private prenatal ultrasound scanning services, supporting expectant parents throughout their pregnancy. Patients can access a range of scans tailored to gestational age, including Early Reassurance Scans from 6 weeks, Gender Scans from 16 weeks, and 4D Scans from 24 weeks. The company also offers non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) to screen for chromosomal conditions such as Down’s, Edwards’ and Patau’s syndromes. In addition, Imaginal provides well-woman scans, including services for individuals undergoing fertility treatments. The team is focused on delivering safe, accurate imaging and a supportive patient experience.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Receptionist role based at Imaginal’s clinic in Liverpool. The Receptionist will be responsible for:

Daily tasks include:

The role also involves:

The Receptionist will help uphold confidentiality standards and contribute to a calm, reassuring atmosphere for patients and their families.

Qualifications

  • Strong receptionist duties and clerical skills, including appointment scheduling, record keeping, and basic administrative tasks.
  • Professional phone etiquette skills for handling incoming and outgoing calls and managing patient inquiries.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact clearly and respectfully with patients and colleagues.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a friendly, patient-centered experience and manage sensitive situations with empathy.
  • Prior experience in a medical or clinic reception environment is beneficial, along with familiarity with patient management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality in line with data protection and clinical standards.
  • Basic IT proficiency (e.g., email, office software) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential evenings or weekends, depending on clinic needs.
