About the Role

As a Receptionist at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square, you’ll be the welcoming face and guiding voice for our guests — ensuring every arrival, stay, and departure is seamless, personalised, and memorable. With a focus on genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and Nobu’s crafted approach, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the guest experience from start to finish.

You will

  • Create a warm, welcoming, and lasting impression for every guest
  • Manage the full guest journey from pre-arrival to post-stay with care and precision
  • Build genuine relationships with guests, especially VIPs and repeat visitors
  • Provide attentive, natural, and friendly service that reflects Nobu standards
  • Answer guest enquiries and follow up promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a tidy, presentable reception area with all necessary materials
  • Be immaculately presented in correct uniform at all times
  • Use OPERA proficiently to capture and manage guest information
  • Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalised, crafted experiences
  • Handle cashiering duties securely and manage a personal float accurately
  • Resolve issues swiftly and empathetically, logging and following up as needed
  • Uphold safety procedures and ensure secure access via the reception desk
  • Embody Nobu values of Family, Crafted, Smile, and Kokoro in every interaction
