£14 per hour Initial 3-Month Contract with the Potential for Extension or a Permanent Opportunity
We are currently seeking a professional, customer-focused Receptionist to join a busy and fast-paced private healthcare clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a demanding environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and enquiries
- Scheduling, amending, and confirming appointments
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Processing payments and handling general administrative tasks
- Supporting clinicians and the wider team with administrative duties
- Ensuring the reception area is organised and presentable at all times
- Delivering a high standard of customer service in a busy clinic environment

About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service experience
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Be confident working in a busy and demanding clinical environment
- Remain professional, calm, and organised under pressure
- Have strong administrative and organisational skills
- Be comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Possess good IT skills and experience using booking or scheduling systems
Working Hours
This role operates on a shift basis within the clinic's opening hours:

- Monday to Wednesday: 7:30am to 8:00pm
- Thursday and Friday: 7:30am to 6:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am to 5:00pm
Candidates will be expected to work up to two Saturdays per month. When a Saturday is worked, a day off will be provided during the week, typically on a Thursday.
