£14 per hour Initial 3-Month Contract with the Potential for Extension or a Permanent Opportunity

We are currently seeking a professional, customer-focused Receptionist to join a busy and fast-paced private healthcare clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a demanding environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.

As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Managing incoming calls, emails, and enquiries
  • Scheduling, amending, and confirming appointments
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Processing payments and handling general administrative tasks
  • Supporting clinicians and the wider team with administrative duties
  • Ensuring the reception area is organised and presentable at all times
  • Delivering a high standard of customer service in a busy clinic environment

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous receptionist, front-of-house, or customer service experience
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Be confident working in a busy and demanding clinical environment
  • Remain professional, calm, and organised under pressure
  • Have strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Be comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Possess good IT skills and experience using booking or scheduling systems

Working Hours

This role operates on a shift basis within the clinic's opening hours:

  • Monday to Wednesday: 7:30am to 8:00pm
  • Thursday and Friday: 7:30am to 6:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:30am to 5:00pm

Candidates will be expected to work up to two Saturdays per month. When a Saturday is worked, a day off will be provided during the week, typically on a Thursday.
