The company specialises in sourcing fresh produce from around the world for customers across the UK and Continental Europe. With over 100 products from more than 40 countries, Minor, Weir & Willis Ltd offers a wide and diverse range of quality produce. The company also works closely with British growers to provide local, seasonal products, supporting both international and domestic supply chains.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Receptionist role based in Witton, Birmingham.
Main duties and responsibilities
Telephones
- Answering incoming telephone calls with due care and attention;
- Routing calls to their recipient;
- Screening calls; and
- Taking messages.
Visitors
- Letting visitors onto site;
- Meeting and greeting visitors; and
- Ensuring that the relevant visitor protocols are followed.
Meeting Rooms
- Co-ordinating and managing the meeting rooms; and
- Ensuring that the meeting room etiquette is followed.
Post
- Opening (where appropriate) and distributing incoming post;
- Logging cheques that have been received;
- Arranging courier collection; and
- Franking out-going post and preparing to be collected.

Stationery
- Monitoring and replenishing the stationery supplies; and
- Ordering business cards.
Purchase Invoices
- Printing off purchase invoices in a timely manner and then scanning and recording them into Nav;
- Distributing the invoices to the relevant recipient for approval; and
- Posting approved invoices into Nav.
Additional Responsibilities

To be part of the overall admin team ensuring that the department as a whole maintains the highest level of professionalism, integrity and service. This will include adhering to the clean desk policy and all other aspects that encourage the provision of a professional service to internal and external customers.

To be responsible for upholding health and safety within the immediate work area, reducing risks and raising concerns to your manager.
