Job Description
Receptionist - Belfast
Role
We are seeking to recruit a receptionist to join the team at Grant Thornton in our Belfast office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and professional receptionist to become part of a busy team within a professional and fast-paced environment. The primary purpose of the role is to provide an efficient, welcoming, and courteous reception service to all clients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
- Previous reception experience is essential
- Ability to confidently communicate with clients at all levels
- Computer literate, ICDL or equivalent
- Excellent professional etiquette
- Excellent communication skills
- Client service orientation/ customer care skills
- Excellent communicator and team player
- Self-motivated and keen eye for detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day presentation of reception and general meeting room areas
- Meeting and greeting clients in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner
- Managing meeting rooms/ desk bookings
- Arranging catering requirements for meetings/ office events
- Providing a professional and personable service to all clients
- Reserving meeting rooms and requesting catering arrangements
- Maintaining Client kitchen cleanliness and stock levels
- Operating the switchboard and directing calls in a positive and professional manner
- Managing and ordering stationery and other essential office stock
- On-site H&S responsibilities – cover for facilities
- Using various software systems to report any maintenance issues
- Ensuring site procedures are documented and kept up to date
- Working with head office to implement initiatives within office relating to group-wide programs
- Ad hoc facilities and reception administrative tasks
- Any other reasonable request
