About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Office Assistant / Receptionist to join our Facilities Team in Leicester.
This friendly team is looking for someone to act as the first point of contact, responsible for greeting visitors, answering calls, and handling daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations at our Leicester office.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Welcoming, directing, and announcing visitors.
- Be the first point of contact for all telephone calls, assisting, transferring, and taking messages as required.
- Supporting with day-to-day office operations, filing, scanning documents, and data entry.
- Receiving and sorting daily mail, as well as arranging couriers where necessary.
- Managing meeting room schedules and ensuring appropriate IT support is available as needed.
- Ordering lunches and refreshments for internal and external meetings/courses.
- Prepare meeting rooms for use and organising refreshments for meetings.
- Ensure meeting rooms are kept presentable and stocked.
- Provide ad-hoc support to the Office Manager.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise conflicting and demanding deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and be proactive.
- Flexibility and the willingness to adapt to changing demands, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business.
