Job Title: Receptionist

Duration: 3 month contract

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 30 hours per week

Location: Glasgow

This opportunity sits within a global EPC contractor supporting the energy transition, with a focus on consulting services across the asset lifecycle and next generation project delivery and execution services. The role offers the chance to support day-to-day front-of-house and office operations in a professional corporate environment, with responsibility across customer service, office administration, record keeping and facilities coordination. This position will suit candidates with strong Microsoft Office 365 capability, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Act as the general point of contact for staff, contractors and visitors.
  • Manage meeting and greeting activities in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Organise filing systems and maintain office database updates.
  • Complete filing and record keeping tasks accurately.
  • Provide progress and activity reporting as required.
  • Oversee and assign tasks received through the site-specific facilities reactive inbox.
  • Answer, transfer and relay messages through the UK switchboard.
  • Process incoming and outgoing couriers and post.
  • Liaise with building management when required.

Required Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Packages and Office 365.
  • Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving ability with a can-do attitude.
  • Good organisational skills and time management.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team with a willingness to learn.
