Receptionist and Administrator

Up to £48K
Mayfair

Predominantly office-based – 1-2 Fridays from home each month

The Client:

A successful global hedge fund headquartered in the US but with a London office of around 100 employees based right in the heart of the West End! The business is highly collaborative and has a close-knit network of Assistants and Administrators who work collaboratively together to provide seamless support to the business. The business really look after their staff and offer market-leading company benefits (further details below).

The Role:

This is a busy Receptionist and Administrator role which will involve working closely with one other Receptionist to provide front of house and administrative support to the business. The role will involve (but is not limited to):

Front of House / Reception Duties (50% of role)

  • Taking incoming calls and directing as appropriate
  • Meeting and greeting clients and vendors
  • Handling hospitality requests and liaising with hospitality team
  • Managing meeting and conference rooms

Administration duties (50% of role)

  • Coordinating events, both internal and external
  • Processing expenses
  • Scanning and printing and general office administration

Plus additional support to the wider team, which could include:

  • Meeting arrangements
  • International travel coordination
  • Supporting HR team with recruitment processes, e.g., arranging interviews
  • Supporting office management and facilities team as needed.

Candidate Specification:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of providing high-level customer service – e.g., previous Reception experience within financial / professional / legal services, high-end hospitality, or aviation
  • Flexible attitude and adaptable
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative working style
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

Additional Information:

  • Salary up to £48K depending on experience
  • The business offer market-leading benefits including competitive discretionary bonuses, 8% pension contribution, weekly provided lunch, health and dental benefits, and monthly phone contributions.
  • Hours are on a rota with the other receptionist and will vary from 8am – 5pm and 9am – 6pm
  • Role is predominantly office-based; however, occasional flexibility to work from home on Fridays may be a possibility.
