We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and friendly individual to join our Corporate Services team, as a Receptionist, at Matrix House, Swansea.
This is a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our reception and front of house services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical assistance to the Finance and Corporate Services Directorate and provide a friendly, efficient and professional reception service, including, but not limited to, customer service, administrative tasks and communication tasks.
Welsh language skills are essential for this Receptionist role. Applicants must have Welsh speaking and listening skills at Level 3 (Intermediate/B1 CEFR). This means being able to communicate confidently in routine workplace situations, including welcoming visitors, answering and transferring telephone calls, taking and passing on messages, and responding to straightforward enquiries in Welsh.
Main duties of the job
- Act as the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Manage a busy reception area, switchboard and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records and stock control systems, for example, stationery items.
- Co-ordinate meeting room bookings and visitor access.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies.
- Deliver excellent customer service and promote a positive image of NWSSP.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
To be responsible for providing clerical assistance to the Finance and Corporate Services Directorate and an effective reception service for NWSSP, including, but not limited to, all administrative tasks and communication tasks. Ensuring that friendly, efficient and professional service is provided at all times, which contributes to the delivery of an effective and customer focussed organisation.
The post holder is expected to prioritise, manage their time well and demonstrate a high degree of flexibility. Handling sensitive and confidential information.
The postholder will consistently deliver a client focussed service promoting good customer service and effective working relationships.
