Quick Accountancy Waterlooville is an accounting firm serving clients across the Greater Portsmouth Area. We support individuals and businesses with day to day financial management, compliance, and advisory services in a professional but friendly environment, with a strong focus on clear communication and high quality client service.
Role Description
We're looking for a part-time Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. You'll manage incoming calls (particularly busy first thing in the morning), greet visitors, handle enquiries, schedule appointments, and keep the reception area tidy and welcoming. The role also includes basic clerical support; filing, data entry, and mail handling, for the wider team.

What we're looking for
- Confident, professional phone manner; mornings are our busiest call time, so reliability at the start of your shift matters
- Experience greeting visitors and handling general enquiries
- Good clerical skills: filing, data entry, document organisation
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Comfortable with everyday office software (email, calendar); familiarity with accounting or CRM systems is a plus but not required
- Organised, calm under pressure, and able to juggle a few things at once
- Previous front-of-house or office experience preferred, but not essential; we're happy to train the right person

What we offer

Hours
~15 hrs/week - Monday to Thursday, 3 hours/day (ideally 9:00–12:00, with some flexibility on start/end time within our 9:00–4:00 office hours), plus Friday 9:00–12:00. Happy to discuss exact scheduling with the right candidate.
Pay
£14/hour
