Saffron House Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Saffron House is looking for a professional, friendly and highly organised full time Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team. The role is based in the main reception, where we look at patients over the age of 18.

This is a key front-of-house role, providing the first point of contact for patients, visitors, staff and external partners. If you enjoy helping people, thrive in a busy environment and take pride in delivering excellent service, we’d love to hear from you.

Saffron House is based in the centre of High Wycombe and is easily accessible by road, train or bus.

As the first point of contact at Saffron House, you will:

  • Provide a warm, welcoming and professional reception service to all patients, parents/carers, visitors, NHS colleagues and external contractors.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all enquiries, both in person and via telephone and email, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and signposted to the correct department.
  • Operate the main switchboard, transferring calls, taking accurate messages and ensuring information is relayed promptly and appropriately.
  • Maintain high standards of general office administration, ensuring departmental documents are accurate and up to date.
  • Support with daily operational tasks, such as fire alarm testing and liaising with contractors.
  • Manage room bookings and ensure smooth coordination of space within the building.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
