At Retirement Villages Group, we believe later life should be filled with opportunity, connection, and exceptional service. We're looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our team at Roseland Parc Retirement Village in the beautiful Cornish village of Tregony.
As the first person our residents, visitors, and contractors meet, you'll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment while keeping the village running smoothly behind the scenes. No two days are the same, making this the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, building relationships, and delivering outstanding customer service.
What you'll be doing
As our Receptionist, you'll be at the heart of village life, providing exceptional front-of-house service and supporting the wider team with a range of administrative tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming residents, visitors, and contractors, ensuring everyone receives a friendly and professional experience.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries and directing them appropriately.
- Managing meeting room bookings, guest suite reservations, and visitor parking.
- Maintaining village directories and ensuring reception information is accurate and up to date.
- Providing administrative support to the General Manager and wider village team.
- Assisting with payroll administration and maintaining confidential records.
- Supporting health and safety procedures, including acting as a Fire Warden and First Aider (full training provided if required).
- Helping ensure the reception area is always professional, welcoming, and well-organised.

About you
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in a receptionist, administration, or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable manner.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A positive, flexible attitude and a willingness to support the wider team whenever needed.
