Location: Aegon UK, Scotland, EH12 9SE
Pay: £28,000 p/a
Hours: Permanent, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 7.30-16.00 or 9.00-17.30

We’re looking for a Receptionist to join our team and help create a welcoming space for our customers. The Corporate Receptionist is the face of the workplace, delivering a professional, welcoming, and efficient front-of-house service for clients, visitors, colleagues, and suppliers.

As the first point of contact, this role ensures an exceptional customer experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office through reception management, meeting room and hospitality coordination, event support, workplace administration, facilities liaison, and concierge-style services. Acting as an ambassador for both Aramark and the client, the Corporate Receptionist helps create a safe, engaging, and productive environment, contributing to operational excellence and maintaining the highest standards of service and presentation.

What you’ll do:

  • Providing a professional and welcoming reception service for all visitors, clients, and colleagues
  • Greeting visitors, managing sign-in processes, issuing visitor passes, and ensuring compliance with security protocols
  • Answering and directing telephone calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
  • Managing the reception and service mailboxes, ensuring queries and requests are handled promptly
  • Coordinating taxi bookings and transportation requests in line with company procedures
  • Managing meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared to the required standard
  • Coordinating hospitality requirements, including catering arrangements and special visitor requests
  • Supporting the planning, booking, and day-to-day management of internal meetings, client events, workshops, and corporate functions
  • Liaising with event organisers, catering providers, facilities teams, and external suppliers to ensure events run smoothly and deliver an exceptional experience

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a reception, front-of-house, customer service, hospitality, or administrative role would be advantageous
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, positive, and proactive approach
  • Strong organisational and administrative abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence when interacting with colleagues, clients, senior stakeholders, and VIP visitors
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of service delivery
  • A flexible and team-oriented approach with a willingness to support wider business activities
