Lynwood Village in Ascot

Lynwood Village in Ascot is a retirement community designed for individuals aged 65 and over. It is situated in a scenic location with free parking. It features a variety of amenities a swimming pool, gym and various leisure activities. The Village offers 152 apartments and cottages.

About the Receptionist Position

As a Receptionist at Lynwood Retirement Village, you’ll be our visitors first point of contact, greeting them and providing guidance for their visit.

Additionally, you’ll be responsible for performing clerical tasks that support the office’s daily operations. From answering phone calls, distributing mail, and scheduling meetings, you’ll have a hand in all parts of the business.

You will be the Emergency First Aider to the Village and Fire Marshal – Full training will be provided.

Reception cover on site is 7 days a week and will include Bank holidays.

We are looking to hire 2 x receptionist £13.30 Per Hour

  • 15 Hours per week. This is 2 x 7.5 hour shifts per week. 07.00 Till 15.00
  • 20 Hours Per Week. This is 4 x 5 hour shifts per week. 15.00 Till 20.00

Receptionist Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors in a polite manner, offering your assistance
  • To act as a fire marshal and first aider (Training will be provided)
  • To act as first responder for the warden system within the Village
  • Notify employees of visitor arrivals and support them with signing in and keys
  • Answer, forward, and screen phone calls and general email inquiries
  • Assist with various daily operations
  • Sort and distribute daily mail and package deliveries
  • Prepare meeting and training rooms as needed
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe reception area

Receptionist Requirements

  • Professional appearance and manner
