Bourne Leisure Centre - 7.5 hours Saturdays

Our centres are open 7 days a week between 5.30am and 11.00pm. Some flexibility will be required to ensure the business needs are met. Training may be required outside of normal shift patterns and there is a requirement to cover shifts as overtime when other team members are on holiday.

Pay rates are National Minimum Wage for the relevant age group.

As a Receptionist

You will be instrumental in welcoming customers, guests, contractors and stakeholders to LeisureSK on a daily basis, ensuring that their first impression of your leisure centre is an overwhelmingly positive one whether face-to-face, on the telephone or via email.

The role will require you to be able to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds, building rapport as you do so. You will need to be knowledgeable about the activities we offer and able to handle a diverse range of queries in a professional and efficient manner, promoting the centre and taking payment where necessary.

You will often be the first team member that issues are reported to, therefore you will have a great deal of responsibility for representing LeisureSK; remaining calm in difficult situations, being proactive in dealing with issues yourself where possible or reporting immediately to management if not.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
