An exciting opportunity to join our friendly team

Perranporth School is looking to appoint a Reception Administrator to work in our busy School Office. This is initially a permanent variable hours position to start as soon as possible for 22.50 hours per week, term time only.

The school is looking for a committed, enthusiastic and hardworking team member with a good sense of humour to work alongside our existing school team. You will work ‘front of house’ and be the first point of contact for parents, staff and visitors both in person and on the telephone. Assisting with pupil welfare is also an important part of the position.

The role will include:

  • Answering all incoming calls and being the first point of contact for parents and visitors.
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming mail.
  • Providing administrative support such as filing, photocopying and typing letters.
  • Keeping accurate records of pupil/staff data (including attendance).
  • To administer basic first aid (training will be provided).

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
