Morgan Spencer Recruitment London is delighted to be partnering with a successful construction company to recruit a professional and personable Receptionist / Administrator on a 3-month temp-to-perm basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced front-of-house professional who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, providing first-class administrative support and being at the heart of a busy office. If you are immediately available and able to start next week, this role offers the chance to join a collaborative team where your contribution will be highly visible and valued from day one.
As the first point of contact for visitors, clients and suppliers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while supporting a range of administrative functions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and greet visitors, clients and contractors in a professional and friendly manner
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it remains organised, welcoming and presentable at all times
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and email enquiries efficiently
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for meetings when required
- Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and couriers
- Provide general administrative support to various departments
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems and office documentation
- Order and manage office supplies and stationery
- Assist with data entry, document preparation and reporting tasks
- Support the wider team with ad hoc administrative and office coordination duties

Skills & Experience Required
- Previous reception, front-of-house or office administration experience within a professional office environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Professional, approachable and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently when required
- Immediately available and able to commence employment next week
- Experience within construction, property or professional services environments would be advantageous but is not essential
