Position: Receptionist

Salary: £12,533.04 per annum (based on 4.5 hours daily / 22.5 hours per week)

Location: Head Office – Milton Keynes

We’re looking for a detail-driven, customer-focused Receptionist to join the team at our Head Office in Milton Keynes. You’ll be working afternoons, the counter-hours to our Morning Receptionist.

In the UK, we currently operate over 220 high street Adult Gaming Centres under our MERKUR Slots Brand, as well as two Merkur Casinos.

About You:

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent face-to-face customer service skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A warm, but tenacious approach to your work
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage and prioritise daily tasks
  • Great organisational skills and the ability to follow through on tasks
  • A team player with the ability to develop positive relationships and work effectively with key stakeholders at all levels and seniority
  • A natural problem solver
  • Proficient in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

As part of the team you will:

  • Provide afternoon reception cover
  • Carry out administration and daily housekeeping tasks such as, but not limited to:
    • Provide administrative and operational support to the Office Manager and Senior Management Team
    • Managing company email inboxes
    • Handling customer complaints and accurately recording each case on the relevant portal
    • Answering and directing telephone calls throughout the afternoon
    • Scheduling meeting rooms
    • Maintaining all meeting rooms to a high standard – set up and clear down
    • Greet and assist visitors
    • Ordering and managing stock levels of office supplies
    • Sort and distribute daily post / deliveries received and manage outward post including organising courier collection
    • Booking travel for departments
    • Providing holiday cover for the morning Receptionist
