About The Role:

A multi award-winning architecture practice, known for their progressive and environmentally sustainable designs, are looking for a positive and welcoming Receptionist/Front of House to join their social and friendly team.

In this role, you will manage front of house, answer the phones, book couriers, book meeting rooms, assist with arranging external meetings, organise catering for weekly events, update the recruitment database, travel booking and various other administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and transfer calls, welcome visitors, provide refreshments for meetings
  • Conduct studio walk-arounds
  • Maintain front of house appearance
  • Manage meeting room calendars
  • Handle incoming/outgoing post and deliveries
  • Stocktake and order office supplies
  • Book couriers, taxis, and travel, run errands when required
  • Provide administrative support including printing and binding
  • Set up studio events
  • Support studio, communications, HR, and finance teams
  • Assist with marketing plans
  • Aid in monthly internal newsletter and facilities tasks

  • Previous experience working within a customer service/client-facing role
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive attitude
  • Time management and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly organised with prioritising skills
  • Keen interest or appreciation in the architecture and design industry is advantageous
