The Role

As Receptionist at Whitburn Academy, you’ll be the first point of contact - greeting visitors, helping with bookings and membership options, answering enquiries, and making sure every guest has a great experience from the moment they arrive. Whether it’s families, clubs, fitness enthusiasts, or first-time visitors, your role is all about creating a warm and helpful welcome.

  • Welcoming every visitor like they’re a regular (even if it’s their first time!)
  • Answering calls, emails, and questions with confidence and a smile
  • Managing bookings for classes, courts, and facilities
  • Processing memberships, payments, and daily transactions
  • Keeping reception running smoothly and looking sharp
  • Sharing info about classes, memberships, and special offers
  • Helping the wider team keep everything running like clockwork

What We’re Looking For

  • A naturally friendly, positive personality
  • Great communication skills
  • Calm, organised, and able to juggle a busy environment
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience in customer service or reception preferred but personality matters most!
