Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Milton Keynes (Head office)

Working hours: Monday and Tuesday (Part time) 7.30am to 4pm


We are seeking a Part time, permanent Receptionist to join our front of house team at Scania GB. You will join a friendly, professional team of receptionists, responsible for creating a positive and lasting impression through excellent communication, organisation and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet visitors, clients and contractors in a professional manner
  • Manage incoming calls — answering, screening and directing to the appropriate person or department
  • Oversee visitor administration, including sign-in/out procedures, passes and compliance with health & safety requirements
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages and courier arrangements
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing and photocopying
  • Support basic diary and appointment management as required
  • Uphold health & safety and fire procedures, including new starter Induction.

About you

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels of stakeholders
  • A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal awareness
  • Proven experience answering telephones in a professional environment
